Privacy Notice

ValuationView is operated in Sweden. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice — we decide why and how it is processed. Contact: privacy@valuationview.com.

• Account data (email address, name if provided, authentication identifiers such as your Google account ID, hashed credentials) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Valuation content (company names, tickers, the financial figures and assumptions you enter, saved results) — to provide the core service and show your saved valuations. Legal basis: contract.
• Subscription and entitlement data (plan, status, renewal dates, subscription identifiers returned by our payment provider) — to give you the access you paid for. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation. Card details are never collected or stored by us.
• Usage and telemetry (pages viewed, features used, quota counts, error logs, timestamps) — to operate, debug and improve the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Device and technical data (IP address, browser and device identifiers, approximate region) — for security, abuse and fraud prevention and language defaults. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Support messages you send us — to answer you. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interests.
• Marketing emails, only if you opt in — legal basis: consent, withdrawable at any time.

• Merchant of Record — Paddle.com, which sells our subscriptions and handles payments, subscription management, tax compliance, invoicing and refunds.
• Service providers / subprocessors: cloud hosting and database, authentication, email delivery, error monitoring and analytics tooling, acting on our instructions.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
• Authorities where required by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal data.

Some providers process data outside the EEA/UK. Where that happens we rely on an adequacy decision or on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK addendum where relevant), together with appropriate technical safeguards.

Account and valuation data is kept while your account is active and for up to 12 months after you close it, so you can restore it. Billing and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires (typically 7 years). Logs and telemetry are kept for up to 24 months. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@valuationview.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the EEA or UK you may also complain to your supervisory authority — in Sweden, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, encryption at rest for stored data, row-level access controls so users can only reach their own valuations, least-privilege administrative access and monitoring.

We use strictly necessary cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your language choice and secure the checkout. Any analytics or marketing cookies are only set with your consent, and you can change your mind or clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.

The service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We will update this notice as the service evolves and will highlight material changes in the app or by email.
